Try our Accessibility Feature

Have you noticed the little blue man at the bottom right hand corner of your screen when browsing through our website?

Our Accessibility Feature

As a dementia friendly campaign, we wanted to ensure our website is easy, simple and useable by anyone who comes to visit.

That is why we have invested in this fantastic feature which has a range of uses. Before we talk about them, look out for the little blue man at the bottom right hand corner of your screen or a purple box which will say “Accessibility Menu” and CLICK.

What can it do?

Contrast: Will allow you to change the colour of the website to invert, dark or light which can be beneficial for those with visual impairments or colouring issues.

Highlight Links: will highlight all the website links or addresses so they are easily seen and accessible.

Bigger Text feature will allow you to change the sizing of the text on our website up to four times larger than the default.

Text Spacing can be changed to light spacing or moderate spacing for those who may need larger gaps between letters or words.

Other important features includes the ability to use a larger cursor and also have the feature read all text on the website aloud to you particularly helpful for those with visual impairments or difficult in following text.

We hope you find this feature useful and if you do use it, please share how it has impacted on your use of our website in the comments box below.
