A successful Information Day in East Belfast

On Thursday 19th September 2024, we held our Dementia Info Day as an opportunity for carers, health professionals or anyone wanting to find out more about dementia, to hear about the services available to them in East Belfast.

We had 15 organisations there to showcase their work and talk to individuals about the services they offer including Dementia Navigators, Supported Housing, Carers Support Service, Dementia NI & Alzheimer’s Society. This proved invaluable for people to have so many organisations in the one room ready to have meaningful conversations and listen to what support they needed.

We also had hand massages and arts & crafts on offer for those who wanted to spend a bit more time with us on such a beautiful sunny morning.
